More than the cultural heritages, Yogyakarta has beautiful natural panorama. The green rice fields cover the suburban areas with a background of the Merapi Mountain. The natural beaches can be easily found to the south of Yogyakarta.
Day 01. Arrival – Transfer in
Arrival in Yogyakarta, meet & transfer to Hotel for check-in.
Day 02. City Tour + Prambanan Temple – Transfer to Borobudur
After breakfast at hotel, start Yogyakarta City Tour visiting :
Sultan Palace, Taman Sari (Water Castle), Ngasem Traditional Bird Market, Silversmith & Batik Processing.
After lunch at local restaurant continue to Prambanan Hindus Temple which was built on 850AD and also quick photo stop at Candi Sewu. Afterwards transfer to Manohara Hotel at Borobudur for overnight.
Dinner will be served en route to Borobudur.
Day 03. Borobudur Sunrise Tour – Dieng Plateau Tour – Transfer to Yogyakarta
Early in the morning at 0500 start trekking up Borobudur Temple to enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the top of the temple (if weather is permitted). After breakfast at hotel, check out and depart via Magelang - home of the National Army Academy - and Temanggung. Enjoy dramatic scenery as we drive through the tea and tobacco plantations of the Sindoro - Sumbing valley - some of the most spectacular countryside you will ever see. Visit Java’s oldest Hindu Temples, dating from 8th century (Bima Temple, Gatotkaca Temple, Pandawa Temple & Arjuna Temple). See the active volcanic craters (Sikidang Crater) and also take in the beauty of the Telaga Warna (coloured) and Telaga Pengilon (mirror) lakes. After dinner at local restaurant return back to hotel in Yogyakarta for overnight.
